Civil/Site Engineering Intern
We are seeking highly-motivated Civil/Site students in the San Antonio, TX area to join our Talent Community for future project opportunities. We employ over 3,000 talented professionals who utilize the most advanced technologies to deliver customized solutions for our clients. Our interns will assist technical staff on day-to-day projects. Read and review project drawings and plans. Confer with engineers about preparing plans. Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D software under the charge of Engineers. Observe project sites and evaluate contractors’ work to detect problems with a design. Prepare reports and document project activities and data. Prepare analyses from collected data. Set up and help maintain project files and records. In addition to the work-centered program, we also offer robust internship programming, which includes opportunities to work with other interns, learn about other areas of the business, and develop valuable communication skills and networking connections. Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with an interest in Civil/Site Development, or a related program. Must have reliable transportation to the office. Basic understanding of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possess solid problem-solving skills. Must be able to work in a high-paced environment. Strong computer literacy, to include MS Office. Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
