The Role 

We are seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team in WA.

This position operates on a 2:1 FIFO roster, based at our projects in the Pilbara region.

In this role, you will maintain project documentation, monitor site activities, and ensure compliance with project specifications while working closely with Senior Engineers and project teams to support smooth project execution.

You will gain hands-on experience, industry best practices, and on-the-job mentoring from industry-leading specialists, contributing to SRG’s daily operations across a variety of projects.

The Project Manager will provide training and support, and strong performers will have the opportunity to progress into a Project Engineer position.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and organise project documents, including drawings, dockets, and registers, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date. Monitor on-site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and promptly reporting any discrepancies. Review and interpret project drawings to ensure site activities align with project requirements. Assist Senior Engineers with procurement, ensuring materials and resources are available when needed. Familiarise yourself with and enforce compliance with the Site Specification and drawings Actively participate in Prestart and Toolbox Talks, promoting safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols. Ensure Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and checklists are signed off promptly for seamless project progression. Compile and maintain quality assurance (QA) documentation, assisting Senior Engineers with submission processes. Stay updated with industry trends, cost factors, and construction methods to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities. Support the project team with any additional tasks as required.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

Previous experience in a similar role within the civil construction sector Strong communication and people skills Strong computer and systems skills and knowledge
