Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Towson, Maryland. This role offers an opportunity to engage in diverse legal tasks, including litigation strategy, document preparation, and case management. The ideal candidate will excel in legal research, negotiation, and client advocacy, ensuring the highest standards of meticulous representation. Responsibilities: • Perform thorough legal research to interpret statutes, case law, and regulations relevant to cases. • Develop comprehensive case strategies and outline litigation approaches to achieve favorable outcomes. • Draft and file legal pleadings, motions, and other court documents with precision and attention to detail. • Respond effectively to defense motions, including those for dismissal or summary judgment. • Prepare and review discovery requests and responses to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Conduct depositions of defendants, witnesses, and expert individuals to gather critical information. • Guide clients through deposition preparation, mediation proceedings, and trial testimony. • Analyze and organize discovery materials to ensure evidence is managed effectively. • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance representatives to secure optimal results for clients. • Advise clients on settlement offers and potential trial implications, providing clear guidance on legal options. Requirements • Must be a licensed attorney with authorization to practice law in Mqaaryland and must have experience in personal injury • Proven experience in civil litigation, including trial preparation and courtroom advocacy. • Demonstrated ability to draft motions, pleadings, and legal briefs with accuracy and clarity. • Strong skills in discovery processes, including reviewing and organizing materials. • Exceptional legal research abilities, with a focus on statutes, case law, and applicable regulations. • Effective negotiation skills to resolve disputes and advocate for client interests. • Ability to analyze liability and evaluate possible defenses in complex cases. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and collaborative teamwork.
