Your work environment at EXP
EXP is currently seeking an Intern for our Wisconsin Operations (Milwaukee and Appleton areas). The selected candidate will work under the direct supervision of junior or senior engineers with a focus on transportation construction projects. The environment is fast-paced and growth oriented, ideally suited for individuals who like to take charge and are driven to gain experience working in a consulting engineering firm.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
Assist with on-site inspections and field assignments;Utilize CAD programs to assist in the preparation of plan drawings and details;Assist with preparation of technical specifications and reports;Perform material quantity take-offs;Organize design calculationsAssist project teams in meeting deadlines as needed.
What your experience looks like
Currently enrolled in an accredited college civil engineering programExperience with computer aided drafting and Microsoft Office productsPunctuality and maturity – ability to work with minimal directionAbility to work outdoors for field assignmentsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work in a team environment
