**Job Description**
AECOM's Enterprise Capabilities team has an immediate opportunity available for Civil Engineer II for employment in Bogota, Colombia.
We are seeking a motivated and talented Civil Engineer II to join our Linear Infrastructure and Site Civils Team in Bogotá D.C. This role supports the design and development of highway, urban road, and airport infrastructure projects, contributing to the preparation of geometric design solutions from conceptual layouts through detailed design stages. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams, gaining experience in international and national infrastructure projects.
**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**
+ Assist in the development of geometric designs for highways, urban roads, and airport projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
+ Support the design of earthworks, platforms, and traffic signage (horizontal and vertical).
+ Prepare and update 3D models of road corridors, airport platforms, runways, taxiways, and terrain surfaces using Autodesk Civil 3D.
+ Participate in the preparation of design reports, technical documentation, specifications, and quantity take-offs.
+ Ensure that assigned design tasks comply with applicable local and international standards.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (drainage, structures, lighting, pavements, etc.).
+ Participate in technical meetings and internal design reviews, supporting validation and quality checks.
+ Coordinate with CAD designers and modelers to ensure the accuracy of project deliverables.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related fields with +2 years of proven experience in geometric roadway design (including highways and urban roads).
+ Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (required).
+ Basic knowledge of AASHTO standards and/or local roadway design regulations.
+ Experience assisting in the development of designs up to detailed construction documentation.
+ Technical English proficiency (reading design standards and specifications).
**Additional Information**
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience with additional design software such as InfraWorks, Navisworks, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer.
+ Familiarity with Autodesk Subassembly Composer or Dynamo (desirable).
+ Basic knowledge of road safety audits or complementary elements (drainage, barriers, landscaping).
+ Specialization or certifications in roadway geometric design or related fields (a plus).
+ Strong interest in professional growth and learning advanced design tools.
