We’re looking for a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with a solid foundation in transportation design and hands-on experience using OpenRoads Designer. What You’ll Do: + Assist in the design and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects including municipal roads, regional corridors, and provincial highways. + Conduct horizontal and vertical roadway alignments, modeling, and grading design using OpenRoads Designer under the guidance of senior engineers. + Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to prepare design drawings, plans, quantities, and cost estimates. + Support quality control processes, project documentation, and coordination with project managers and clients. + Participate in site visits or field reviews as needed to assess existing conditions or support design development. + Contribute to proposals, reports, and presentations as your experience grows. What You Bring: + Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in Ontario (or eligible). + 2–4 years of relevant experience in civil/transportation engineering, with exposure to Ontario highway or roadway design projects. + Proficiency with OpenRoads Designer is essential; experience with MicroStation, Civil 3D, and related tools is an asset. + Knowledge of MTO, Metrolinx, or municipal design standards is a strong plus. + Understanding of engineering design workflows and bid preparation processes. + Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. + Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to challenging transportation design projects.
