To provide civil services to my client. The Professional Civil Engineer / Civil Technologist knowledge of the civil engineering discipline and good engineering practices, including design, construction monitoring and project management duties, will ensure an autonomous project execution while supporting the broader client business, values and vision. The candidate should also mentor the young Engineers / Technologists to gain experience and acquire Pr registration.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

\r\n

The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following tasks:

\r\n\r\nGeneral project administration\r\nAssist with the preparation of proposals\r\nEnsure clear agreement of client objectives and that these are met or exceeded\r\nAssist and adhere to HSE requirements during design stages\r\nDesign Engineer / Technologist forming part of feasibility studies, conceptual design, detail design, implementation of projects\r\nManagement and control of health, safety and environmental risks associated with project activities\r\nDevelopment and implementation of initiatives to improve cost effectiveness and efficiency of the project execution\r\nEffective management and control of risks through engineering designs\r\nManage multiple projects\r\nTrain and mentor young Engineers and Technologists\r\n\r\n

Education, Language & Qualifications

\r\n\r\nEng/B Tech Civil Engineering degree\r\nProfessional registration with ECSA is a requirement (Minimum 5 years post registration experience in the Civil Engineering environment)\r\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\r\n\r\n

Essential Knowledge, skills, and Experience

\r\n\r\nStrong technical background.\r\nAutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.\r\nA proven track record in design of Civil engineering related projects.\r\nSound understanding of applicable engineering standards and codes of practice.\r\nExperience in multi-disciplinary civil projects.\r\nDemonstrable commitment to HSE management in a project environment.\r\nQuality Assurance knowledge, awareness and responsibility.\r\nSafety awareness and responsibility.\r\n\r\n\r\n
