**Your Opportunity:**
You have the opportunity to join our dynamic team of engineering professionals that are working on projects throughout Western Canada and North America. By joining Stantec, you join a global engineering firm that enables you to work on leading-edge projects with water and wastewater experts.
**Your Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform field work related to site investigations in support of design work and may include pilot and/or construction related activities.
+ Meet with clients, regulators and officials, public, and contractors to review project needs and coordinate field conditions.
+ Assists in supporting the project through construction that can include submittal reviews, responses to requests for information and contract document clarifications.
+ Use knowledge of general concepts of relevant water and wastewater engineering elements including process engineering design, technology selection, and development of design calculations, drawings, and reports.
+ Be an effective communicator and work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of technicians and engineers.
+ Support our technical and project management teams on local projects.
+ Deliver individual project tasks following project schedule and budget.
**Your Capabilities and Credentials:**
+ Basic understanding of general concepts of relevant areas of water and wastewater engineering design.
+ Familiarity of project and construction management, design coordination.
+ Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought.
+ Highly organized and ability to prioritize tasks.
+ Understanding of process, mechanical, or hydraulic engineering concepts and ability to effectively communicate ideas to others.
+ Ability to interpret sketches, engineering drawings, and other similar material.
+ Basic experience in Microsoft Office, as well as relevant discipline software programs, which may include hydraulic, process, and chemical modelling software.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
**Education and Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemical, Mechanical, Process, or Civil Engineering.
+ Registration as an Engineer-in-Training or P.Eng. is considered an asset.
+ 0-6 years of experience.
+ Co-op/Internship experience is considered an asset.
**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
