Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager/Designer to join our team and contribute to various land development projects across Howard, Prince George's, and Montgomery Counties in Maryland. The successful candidate will utilize AutoCAD to assist in the production of engineering plans, including stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, site grading, preliminary design, and water and sewer plans. This role is office-based and requires a high level of proficiency with relevant software and design experience. The projects encompass commercial, residential, and industrial developments.
ResponsibilitiesUtilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for designing and drafting engineering plans.Assist in the production of stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, site grading, and preliminary design plans.Contribute to water and sewer plan development.Collaborate on commercial, residential, and industrial projects, including subdivisions and mixed-use developments.Work within a deadline-oriented environment to ensure timely project completion.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience designing with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.Experience with land development projects.Proficiency in stormwater design, drainage systems, and site planning.Some exposure to or interest in project management.Strong skills in Microsoft Office.Additional Skills & QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.Engineering degree or related technical certification.Experience in transportation and environmental projects is beneficial.Interest in progressing toward an EIT certification is advantageous.Work Environment
This is an office-based position with a work schedule of Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. You will be part of a project team that includes civil engineering, landscape architecture, and survey disciplines. The work environment is friendly, and the team is committed to a 'work hard, play hard' ethos. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
