Job Description

Join our team as a Civil Engineer and contribute to a groundbreaking $2.2 billion data center project in Fort Worth, Texas. Situated on a sprawling 107-acre site, this facility is designed with a waterloop system to significantly reduce water usage. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced civil engineer to lead the design and development efforts of this innovative project.

ResponsibilitiesConduct site investigation and due diligence, including ordinance reviews, utility service research, regulatory compliance assessments, and site visits to establish comprehensive development guidelines.Generate due diligence reports to support project planning.Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for land development and utility design.Design civil infrastructure, including site planning and layout, roadways, drainage systems, grading, slabs, mechanical joints, asphalt, concrete works, earthworks, deep excavations, and containment structures.Implement stormwater management, erosion, and sediment control strategies.Design water distribution and sanitary sewer systems and other municipal infrastructure components.Prepare and develop technical reports, planning studies, specifications, and detailed design drawings.Conduct construction submittal reviews, calculations, and deliver other technical deliverables as required.Essential SkillsProficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.Experience with civil design and utilities engineering for commercial or industrial projects.Understanding of flatwork design, water distribution, pump stations, and mechanical joints.Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of experience.Professional Engineer (PE) certification.Additional Skills & QualificationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Demonstrates accountability, commitment, and an excellent work attitude.Work Environment

This role offers a remote-first work environment with flexible work hours, accommodating varying schedules as long as projects and deadlines are met. You will be part of a collaborative team, partnering with four civil engineers in a 10-person firm that values teamwork and technical excellence. The candidate should be located within 3–4 hours of the project site and be available for periodic travel for site visits. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/hr.
