We are seeking a highly skilled Civil/Strucutral Transportation Engineer to support a variety of transportation and infrastructure projects throughout New York City. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile public works—designing streets, highways, drainage systems, and more—while working with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Position: Civil EngineerWhat You'll DoPerform engineering design tasks including roadway/highway design, grading, drainage, utilities, and green infrastructureDesign work zone traffic control plans and site layoutsDevelop design documents such as plans, profiles, cross-sections, and construction details using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStationPrepare technical reports, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documentsSupport multi-disciplinary teams through all stages of design and project executionTake on additional responsibilities as needed to support engineering goalsWhat You BringBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (required)4+ years of relevant experience, particularly with NYCDOT and NYCDDC civil/highway projectsProficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStationStrong foundation in transportation design, drainage systems, and gradingEIT certification (preferred)Experience developing civil/highway design packages and coordinating with public agenciesNice to HaveStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience collaborating on multi-disciplinary design teamsFamiliarity with green infrastructure and urban site development projectsWork EnvironmentOffice located in the Financial District, NYCHybrid work schedule available after onboarding (3 or 4 days in-office based on team needs)Work on meaningful infrastructure including streets, highways, railroads, and public utility projects that shape New York City’s future

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
