Civil Designer
Description Will perform detailed calculations, quantity take-offs, and other design details on commercial, residential, and educational projects for independent clients as well as architects. The majority of their work currently is on K-12 projects, so this person will be tied to those projects. 80% of their work is K-12, but they also do some private sector work (Commercial mainly) Will work in AutoCAD platform to produce the construction documents Will use Civil 3D for design Will be in the office the majority of the time, but might be asked to do a site visit for planning meetings and drawing reviews. Doesn't necessarily have to be an engineer with a degree for this role, as long as they have the design experience, with high level Civil 3D skills as well. Bottom line is that they need a mid-level person between heavy junior production staff and the project managers, basically someone that the managers can hand a project off to and they can run with it without much oversight or hand-holding, and can delegate work to junior staff.
