Civil Designer
Civil Designer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer to join our team, where you will gather and assemble technical data from various sources to develop engineering plans for design and construction. You will play a crucial role in developing comprehensive engineering plan sets, including site layouts, mass grading plans, construction details, plans and profiles, cross sections, and earthwork volume calculations using AutoCAD Civil3D. Responsibilities + Develop survey point lists, alignments, and earthwork surfaces for field construction purposes. + Create as-built documentation drawings and ensure drawings are complete and accurate. + Develop 2D and 3D renderings when required and work collaboratively with engineers or scientists on project work. + Assist with the development and maintenance of CAD standards and coordinate work with other drafters or CAD designers within the region. + Support the integration of CAD with other technology solutions such as GIS, drones, and AI. Skills and Qualifications + Bachelor's or associate's degree in civil, geological, environmental engineering, or a related field + Experience in landfill design and stormwater management. + A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Civil3D. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
