Responsibilities: * Civil Associate Software Developer will design, develop, and maintain software applications typically related to bridge engineering and analysis * Work closely with a team of bridge engineers, senior software developers, technical managers, project managers, and clients to understand their software requirements and ensure that the software solutions meet their needs * Optimize and improve existing software applications for performance, reliability, and user-friendliness * Understand and interpret bridges codes so that they can be converted to solid engineering software solutions * Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve software issues and ensure the software's accuracy and stability * Create clear and comprehensive documentation for engineering software applications * Provide support for existing software by communicating directly with users and clients via emails, phone calls, or presentations * Growth responsibilities include staying apprised of the latest developments in bridge engineering, specifications, relevant technologies, and industry standards to incorporate the best practices into software solutions
