Job description
Infosys is seeking a Citrix Technical Architect. This position will interface with key stakeholders and lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions across both persistent and non-persistent environments, supporting On-Premises and Citrix Cloud deployments. Required skills: The client is based out of Wichita KS. Candidate can work anywhere from USA. This position may require few travels per client needs.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.At least 6 years of experience in Citrix architecture rolesThis role may involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). The eligible candidates must be US Citizens onlyTechnical Expertise:Strong hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix Cloud, and Citrix GatewayDesign and architect scalable Citrix solutions for persistent and non-persistent VDIsLead migration and hybrid deployment strategies between On-Prem and Citrix CloudProficiency in managing HP thin clients using HP Device ManagerDeploy and manage HP ThinPro and Windows-based thin clients using HP Device ManagerExpertise in Ivanti Application Control and Environment ManagerSolid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows OS internalsExperience with PowerShell scripting for automation and reportingVDI lifecycle management – updates, upgrades, patchingTroubleshoot complex Citrix issues related to performance, connectivity, and user experiencePreferred Skills:Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and manage complex technical solutionsTechnical leadership and mentoring capabilitiesRespond to customer RFPs/RFIs and provide VDI solutions and estimationsWillingness to learn new technologies and adapt to different rolesGood to have any or more certificates such as:Citrix Certified Expert – Virtualization (CCE-V)Ivanti Certified ProfessionalHP Device Manager CertificationMicrosoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop SpecialtyEstimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA/ WA / NY / CO / MD / IL / MN: $96,000 to $134,000
In Washington, DC: $85,600 to $129,000
