Duties and Responsibilities:
Leading a team of Citrix engineers in the delivery of classified virtual desktop services.Leads and plans system maintenance, software update lifecycle and patching.Ensuring that performance and security of virtual services meet the needs of network users.Applying knowledge of job area to sustain current operations and architecture.Working with client to develop future operations and architecture approaches to enhance virtual desktop services to include cloud virtualization.Directing assigned engineers in client/server data integrity by monitoring and implementing standard software and hardware solutions.Active participation and leadership in Event, Incident, and Change Management processes.Active participation in Information assurance, A&A, Risk and Cybersecurity assessment and continuous monitoring processes.Working to achieve agreed-to SLAs to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.Organizing appropriate training and utilize commercial and government off-the-shelf products (COTS and GOTS).Also performs same functions for peripheral devices such as scanners, printers, and fax devices.Lead and oversee all phases of Citrix-related projects, including planning, design, implementation, and post-implementation support.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Basic Qualifications:
Design, implementation, test, deployment, and operational experience with Citrix Virtual Application and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Citrix WorkspaceOperational experience with previous versions of CVAD 7 1912, XenApp 7.15 Operational experience with Wyse/Dell Zero ClientsAbility to translate technical topics into terms line and senior management can discuss. SMART Card experience (PKI/CAC).Strong customer service and strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Excellent interpersonal skills, especially ability to listen and understand what is being described. Working knowledge of ServiceNow ticket system; creating, updating and closing tickets. Prior experience providing Systems Administration and Citrix support for a medium to large environment with active load balancing to a geographically separated data center. Excellent attention to detail. Experience with computer terms and customer service operations.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
