The Citi Ventures – Enterprise Digital Assets team focuses on driving Citi’s efforts in Blockchain and Digital Assets, working across Citi businesses, functional partners, clients, and fintechs. The team incubates and executes on emerging and cross-enterprise products and services, while also working with functional partners on supporting the development of a common technology infrastructure, consistent regulatory engagement approach and governance frameworks. The team aims to be a thought leader, with deep expertise in blockchain, digital assets, market structure, and Citi’s institutional and consumer businesses. We work across businesses such as Markets, Services, Banking, Wealth and USPB, all jurisdictions and asset classes. The Associate will be a key member of the Enterprise Digital Asset team and will be expected to take an active ownership role and apply an entrepreneurial mindset to progressing varied digital asset initiatives, often engaging across LOBs, clients, fintechs, and functional partners. The role will support building distinct points of view on where and how Citi should pursue digital asset opportunities, including new products, new clients, and new investments. The team aims to be a thought leader, with deep expertise in blockchain, digital assets, market structure, and Citi’s institutional and consumer businesses. **Responsibilities:** + Help identify cross-business digital asset opportunities and inform strategic priorities with regard to products, clients, partnerships and technology in collaboration with cross-functional teams across Citi + Track external and internal developments with regard to blockchain-related efforts, providing market intelligence, and developing qualitative and quantitative analyses to support strategic and delivery-focused recommendations + Support client-related, product, and partnership initiatives with research, analyses, project management and communications + Originate and assess new business opportunities, ventures, and investment targets + Prepare internal and external communications for senior stakeholders + Own project workstreams and manage the communications of status, next steps and risks to internal and external stakeholders **Qualifications:** + 5 to 10 years of related experience + Demonstrated intellectual curiosity with a proven ability to learn quickly, go deep on complex topics, and adapt to a rabidly evolving digital asset landscape + Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and the ability to distill complex topics into clear, compelling narratives for senior stakeholders + Solid qualitative and quantitative skills with the ability to gather data, form clear analysis and recommendations based on such data and communicate these in written and verbal form + Entrepreneurial mindset taking ownership of assignments and proactively driving towards execution + Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to clearly articulate recommendations and influence process + Ability to demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail + Critical thinking and problem-solving skills + Bachelor’s degree required + Master’s a plus ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Private Client Coverage ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Private Client Business Development ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location:** New York New York United States ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:** $142,320.00 - $213,480.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
