Citi - Solutions Sales Senior Specialist - C13 - Nuevo León

The Solution Sales Sr Specialist is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of Top Tier Local Corporates and Global Subsidiaries and be responsible for TTS sales origination, cross-sell and retention across the portfolioOriginate new TTS sales for clients, cross-selling TTS products and services to deepen wallet penetration, revenue realization and expansion, and driving customer satisfaction through quality service deliveryPrimary global or regional point of contact and accountability for TTS sales origination and related activities to clientsTrusted advisor for the TTS solutions provided to clients and be responsible for overall client satisfactionResponsible for growing the TTS P&L of clients and oversee the sales process from origination to revenue realization for assigned clientsManage and drive the deal team and work closely with Relationship Managers, TTS Product, Client Delivery and O&T to achieve objectivesEnsure consistent, professional delivery of all client management disciplines including: account planning, call reporting, lead generation, pipeline management, implementation acceleration, plus TTS relationship reviewsCultivate client contacts in the key buying centers that allocate and influence the client’s TTS-related walletIdentify client goals & financial needs that can be addressed through the TTS platformIdentify opportunities for new deals across TTS product set and geographies including multi-product requirementsDevelop and maintain market knowledge through participation in conferences and keeping up to date on market trends affecting clientsManage and drive the global / regional teams for each account:Champion multi-product an d/or cross-regional solutions and pricing through the deal review process (Product Sales will be responsible for overall proposal creation and deal review)Ensure global team communication (e.g. call reports, CRM, emails)Drive overall client satisfaction with the TTS platform and build customer loyaltyRespond to customer escalation for operational/customer service issues, including complex or cross-geography issuesBuild a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethicsAppropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputationBe familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities ServicesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

6-10 years of experienceCustomer service oriented person with excellent communication skillsAccounting background with good aptitudeIn-depth knowledge of regulations, market practices and bank operationsDemonstrated interpersonal, oral/written communication skillsAnalytical and Advanced problem solving skillsIndependently motivated and resourcefulA sense of pragmatism and urgency in execution of strategyInnate leadership ability to galvanize resources across unitsProduct, sales and business management experience.People with relevant Banking/Finance/Client Service or relationship managementAbility to work with broad group of stakeholders


Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

It is expected that The Solution Sales Sr Specialist shows a clear sales strategy if short listed to an interview with the Senior Sales Management team including local and regional members, preferably driving conversation through a small deck that shows his/her strategic view over the business.

As nearshoring has become a relevant topic across banking industry to support all type of industries' corporations, showing a deep understanding over such theme it would be highly valuable and may strongly contribute to the applicant evaluation.

Bilingual communication skills play a key role to this position. Candidates should be ready to conduct half of the meeting in English, demonstrating the same level of communication skills as in Spanish (including topics highlighted above)

Sales discipline is essential to cover this open position. We expect applicants to clearly show a consistent control method over sales activities that can help make our Treasury and Trade Solutions business grow.

Cash Management it's the core business for this job application, but equally important it's the Trade Business which includes Account Payables Finance, Account Receivables Finance and Trade Services in the centre of our sales strategy. Experience on this field it's a must and will be highly rated during applicants' evaluation.
