About the Role:

As Senior Manager of Technical Marketing Engineering for the Network Platform team, you will collaborate with leadership and product teams across the company to shape the Cisco Networking experience and platform.

Cisco is changing the way the industry thinks about networking, and you will own the charge to continue the evolution. Teaming up with forward-thinking engineers, designers, and delighted customers, you will help ensure we have flexible buying options that span from SMB to Enterprise and Service Providers. You will work closely with the executive team to build a successful strategy and collaborate with our distinguished sales, marketing, and partner teams to ensure market adoption and rapid growth.

You will have a significant impact on one of the fastest-growing connected hardware companies in the world, reach a global customer base, and work on groundbreaking cloud-managed hardware.

ResponsibilitiesAttract, build, and run a diverse team of dedicated TMEs supporting our Network Cloud Platform with a focus on platform scale, AI infrastructure and securityImprove productivity by evolving the team structure to enable efficient execution of TME workStay on top of industry trends and understand the landscape. Work with senior PMs/TMEs on the team to investigate feature/platform innovations that make valuable contributions to a broad range of customersThoughtfully assign incoming technical projects based on skills and availability, provide ongoing feedback, and remove roadblocksPlan and track timelines for the team, ensuring efficient execution and communicating to relevant partners and leadership when things changeWork with our dedicated engineering teams on the direction of our cloud architecture to best handle the scale, performance, and reliability that our customers trustWorking alongside Engineering and PM to craft a feature development strategy that satisfies Cisco Networking’s largest customers while maintaining core simplicityReview/prioritize customer-reported bugs and critical issues and establish a plan to address themDrive development and creation of impactful technical collateral to better enable our support, sales engineers, customers, and partnersEvangelize Network Platform through participation in industry customer and partner eventsMaintain a strong customer focus. Drive a culture of sharing user/customer feedback with Engineering to build features that will have the biggest impact on our customersMeet with customers and prospects, share our vision, and understand their needsQualifications8+ years of technical work experience in B2B SaaS5+ years of experience in cloud technologies and software development3+ years of people management experience building, leading, and mentoring impactful teamsHave excellent communication skills and can communicate complicated concepts to non-technical audiencesHave worked multi-functionally on large projects with multiple engineering teamsEntrepreneurship, "can do" attitude, and ability and willingness to make an impactDeep understanding and familiarity with networking technologiesLove solving technical problems in creative waysBA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related degreeDeep passion for mentoring, coaching, and growing people
