Support the Chubb Life Head of Business Management in driving key finance strategic initiatives throughout the organization and ensuring their delivery is on track.
The Finance PMO will work closely with the program leads (across Data, Systems, FP&A, Actuarial, Controllership), mobilize key stakeholders across different geographies, and support the Head of Business Management with day-to-day management for the tracking, reporting and delivery of the initiatives.
This role requires leadership and collaboration skills cross border and functions.
Key Responsibilities:
As as a PMO for a portfolio of Global Life Finance initiatives (focusing on Data, Systems, FP&A, Actuarial, Controllership), he/she will ensure that governance is followed by all program leads and track execution, budget, raise any risks & prepare comprehensive updates. Additionally, he/she will oversee the delivery of selected country specific finance projects within our Asia Business units Must facilitate communication with diverse teams and stakeholders across multiple countries, ensuring all parties are informed and engaged throughout the projects lifecycle. Support the Head of Business Management for the organization / preparation of key leadership meetings and townhalls. Key stakeholders will be in the Life Global Finance team in Asia / US (Data, Systems, FP&A, Actuarial, Controllership teams), Life Business units across Asia (Finance teams) Must thrive in a global setting, accommodating various time zones and cultural considerations. Must be proactive and comfortable leveraging subject matter experts in Actuarial, Finance, and IT, while focusing on effectively managing the project delivery.
Essential
International experience (across Asia and/or US) 5-10 years insurance related work experience - working in a multinational environment / very large, matrix, global organisation Proven track record of project management, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration and good understating of key finance processes. Strong Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and ability to network across stakeholders to get things done. Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Understands and can operate effectively within a highly matrixed organisational reporting structure. Ability to manage upwards and to constantly be in the detail to drive results and resolve issues. The individual thrives on change and seeks out opportunities. Has a strong character and flexibility to overcome obstacles, can build coalitions and is single-minded on delivering improvement through self-motivation and desire to build better outcomes.
