Role objective
Provide Corporate Development, strategy and deal execution support for all Chubb Life markets, reporting directly into the Head of Product and Partnership.
Responsibilities
Strategy and Corporate Development support
Support formulation of Chubb Life’s strategic ambition in Corporate Development, linking longer term strategy with short term execution priorities to deliver results
Support local markets in identifying key strategic and execution priorities to drive business growth and profitability, including clear KPIs and management reporting
Support all Strategy planning sessions including 5 Year Strategy Plan
Lead independent analysis for Senior Global Leadership and Country Presidents, covering industry trends, competitive landscape and opportunity sizing
Support Head of Product and Partnership in producing materials for Global CEO/CFO presentations.
Corporate development research and support, including identifying prospects, pipeline tracking and competitive insights – in close collaboration with Country business development teams
Ad hoc project support for Head of Product and Partnership on various Partnership projects
Monitoring of life insurance market M&A and venture investment activity
Deal execution
Drive deals, including business case creation and coordinating due diligence across functions
Input into deal terms and structuring (working with regional/global corporate development) based on valuation and due diligence findings
Streamline deal evaluation metrics, methodology and approach across deals and markets
Maintain relevant deal models and final deal submissions for key markets
Prepare materials and participate in management meetings as needed
A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services either with corporate or management consultancy. Insurance industry experience is preferred.
BSc/BA in business administration, finance, actuarial or relevant field. Technical finance or actuarial background is preferred.
Familiarity with life insurance landscape of key markets in Asia Pacific
Global / International experience preferred
