Become one of the core members in the valuation COE team. Manage and assist in the implementation work of the IFRS17 and US GAAP LDTI in the Chubb Life entities. Provide guidance to the local business units on the IFRS17 accounting policies implementation and support the local teams on the preparation of the actuarial technical specification and ensure it is aligned with Chubb Global policies. Support the LDTI WG on streamlining the US GAAP reporting process by eliminating off-model calculations and adjustments. Perform LDTI UATs and parallel runs. Support valuation COE team in managing new valuation reporting works.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage junior resources in the valuation COE team to support US GAAP LDTI and IFRS17 implementation and future reporting works;Guide and assist the local actuarial team in the IFRS17 implementation, and resolve implementation issues; Ensure the IFRS17 implementations are done consistently for Chubb Life entities and compliance to IFRS 17 standard and Group Accounting Policy; Develop IFRS17 spreadsheet solution for countries that are not in the centralized subledger system solution; Support the core LDTI implementation team on the development of end-to-end US GAAP LDTI closing process by integrating the new process into the enterprise data storage (EDS) and centralized Prophet solution; Manage and support the future US GAAP closing process for multiple Chubb Life entities in the Prophet Cloud environment; Support valuation COE team head to manage and develop the junior team members in different geographical locations
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Fellow of the Societies of Actuaries or equivalent At least 7 years of relevant experience Solid experience using Prophet Fluent in speaking and written English A team player with good interpersonal skills, able to work independently and under pressure Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Senior Manager positionLOCATION
