As a Chubb Associate, you will be in a full-time position within the Claims Large Commercial Segmentation and you will experience:

Under direct supervision initially, handle a diverse mix of professional lines claims, including directors’ and officers’ liability claims.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Develop skills to handle caseload of professional liability claims, including evaluating coverage, retaining outside counsel, documenting file, and participating in and influencing the outcome of the resolution of files Develop customer relation skills to allow for communication directly with agents, insureds, clients, claimants and other customers Develop negotiation skills to allow for direct participation in the resolution of claim files Become educated in general legal and insurance principalsLaw School or College graduate. No experience required. Strong GPA, over 3.0 requiredStrong customer orientation to respond to and support customer needs. Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively deal with outside investigative sources and with insureds by telephone. Strong analytical and organizational abilityStrong PC experience to be comfortable in an automated environment. Works well within a team environment to give and solicit feedback, identify opportunities for growth of self and other team members.Believes in own judgment and acts to support or defend own choices. Committed to high standards of behavior and performance. Adapts own approach or behavior to particular situation.
The pay range for the role is $75,000 to $85,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
For Claims Adjuster roles: If you do not already have one, you will be required to obtain an applicable resident or designated home state adjusters license and possibly additional state licensure.
