Summary:
This position is responsible for working with families in assessing and communicating the developmental needs of their child.
· Strong knowledge base of child development with emphasis on understanding of the sequence of child development milestones. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Master’s degree preferred.
· Conduct Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3), interpret results, report and make referrals to supportive agencies as needed.
· Effective parent engagement skills to assist with providing education and strategies to promote healthy development of their child.
· Knowledge of community resources and local system of care for the early childhood population.
· This is a 40 hour exempt position that requires some late afternoon/early evening hours as well as an occasional Saturday.
