This position is eligible for a $500 bonus! We are looking for caring and energetic Childcare Teachers to join our team at our childcare center in Ames! 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday only. These individuals will contribute to a positive, nurturing environment that is safe, clean and organized for the children between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years. Teacher Assistants will also encourage children’s overall development through appropriate play-based activities and by working collaboratively with families.

What You’ll Do Provide routine care for infants and/or children including diaper changing/assistance with personal cares, hygiene and hand washing, serving meals and snacks.Maintain children's safety by providing constant supervision in compliance with staff/child ratio requirements and utilizing name to face attendance log. Consistently assess and monitor children’s general health and report concerns to supervisor and family as appropriate. Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.High School diploma or GED is requiredExperience providing care and supervision for children preferredThis position may be subject to COVID-19 safety requirements.
