Baylor Scott & White Health McLane Children's Medical Center is looking for a Child Development Psychologist to join our team in Central Texas. 

About McLane Children's Medical Center:

Our five-story McLane Children’s Specialty Clinic is located next to our free standing Children’s Hospital. The hospital features include 112 patient beds: 48 private medical/surgical rooms, 16 private Pediatric ICU rooms and a 24- hour, level II pediatric emergency department and verified trauma center equipped to deal with the most serious pediatric trauma cases. A level IV, 48 bed Neonatal ICU is located nearby on the main BSWMC, Temple campus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Doctoral degree in Child Clinical, Pediatric Psychology, or School Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from a university-based graduate program fully accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) or Canadian Psychological Association (CPA). Note: This requirement assumes completion of a one-year, pediatric-oriented pre-doctoral internship that is APA- or CPA-accredited, or its substantial equivalent, i.e., a member program of Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC).Texas license to practice Psychology issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP), or license-eligible in Texas. Note: This requirement assumes completion of one-year of Postdoctoral supervised training (1,750 hours), preferably from an APA-accredited Postdoctoral Fellowship Program in Child Clinical or Pediatric Psychology or an APPIC-member program.  Preference given to candidates who are Board-certified in Child Clinical or Pediatric Psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), or whose professional trajectory includes board certification when eligible.
