We have one (1) exciting opportunity for a Child Development & Education Center Associate Teacher located at our campus in San Jacinto, CA. Reporting to the Director and/or Site Supervisor, the Child Development and Education Center Associate Teacher assists in providing instruction and care for children in activities designed to promote optimal emotional, social, physical, intellectual and creative development. Positions in this class are distinguished by the incumbent's responsibilities that center on early childhood education and care. The work requires a knowledge of the functions and structure of the Child Development and Education Center.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. Possession of a valid Child Development Permit at the Associate Teacher level or higher; (*attach permit) AND 2. Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff ***Before scanning attachments, remove/redact sensitive, confidential information such as date of birth, social security number, address and photograph*** SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/STATE MANDATED REQUIREMENS FOR CHILD CARE WORKERS 1. Pre-employment Health Screening (Physical) 2. SB 792 requires: 1. Influenza Vaccine 2. Pertussis Vaccine 3. Measles Vaccine DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 1. Completion of a supervised field experience course 2. CPR, AED and First Aid Certificates for Infants, Children and Adults
