Our Mental Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated individual to provide psychiatry services to our clients and consultation services for our Mental Health team. In this 15-hour-per-week, contract position, you'll have the flexibility to work a hybrid (In-person & Telepsychiatry) position 1-2 days a week to work in our clinic and have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young learners while working alongside a supportive and collaborative team of professionals. Requirements / QualificationsSALARY RANGE: $150 - $180/hr As a contracted Psychiatrist with IRL, you will: complete initial psychiatric assessments. provide medication management services. monitor medication effectiveness and side effects. Document in Electronic Health Record. You will need the following minimum qualifications to be considered: Valid California Medical License Current DEA License Board Certified or Board Eligible for Child & Adolescent Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team proficient in using modern office technology, equipment, and procedures, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Teams), Adobe, Zoom, basic email, and the internet, and able to learn and adapt to new systems and software Auto insurance liability coverage which meets the minimum for work-related travel (25/50k liability coverage) Must clear a current background check through the FBI and state agencies A current TB Test (within the last 6 months)
Environment & Physical Qualifications: Traveling to and providing case management/parent advocating and/or interpretation services in multiple community locations which could include school sites, client’s homes, clinic sites, parks, and other sites as needed. Traveling to and attending training, meetings, and conferences within Los Angeles County, including Almansor Mental Health clinic sites.
