The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for an experienced Chief Systems Engineer for the Integrated Counter Unmanned Aerial System Vehicle (ICV.) The work location will be, Bozeman, MT with some travel to Sterling, VA, and Canada. The Chief Systems Engineer will support the ICV program within the Counter-Unmanned Systems Division in Sterling, VA responsible for applying interdisciplinary engineering skills in the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complex solutions or products. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities:

Lead program engineering throughout lifecycle, from program project startup through requirements development, design, test and verification, and O&MLead multi-disciplinary technical teams in areas related to RADAR, camera and RF systems design, analysis, test and executionDevelop and align team performance to a Systems Engineering Management Plan to achieve required contractual performance, as well as configuration management of the technical baselineManage technical performance and interface across multiple disciplinesWork within program leadership team, including with the program manager, to ensure program successProvide primary technical interface to Customers and key stakeholdersCommunicate through oral presentations and written reports on program status, issues and successCollaborate across contracts with matrixed engineers to develop and maintain shared SW and HW solutions for DoD customers that have similar but distinct priorities and requirementsMentor the program engineering team to mature program rigor and performance


Qualifications:

Required: 

Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 7 of prior relevant experience.10+ years of related experience in systems engineeringPast experience in a technical leadership role, e.g. Chief Engineer, Technical Program Manager, Lead Systems Engineer, IPT Lead, etc.Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams in areas related to requirement specification and decomposition, integrated system design, test procedure development and execution, and management of design lifecycle of complex projects.Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET clearance

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$108,900 - $239,500
