Chief Of Staff/Business Manager
Job Description This demanding role supports a high-level leader and offers potential for both domestic and international travel. The position is designed to augment the sales teams by engaging with business leaders at customer organizations, particularly within the retail and consumer goods industry. You will be involved in strategic business discussions and participate in major industry events. Responsibilities + Attend all meetings with the team leader, taking notes, following up on next steps, and ensuring the leader is prepared for customer and internal meetings. + Work closely with the executive assistant and communications staff to plan events, prepare materials, and manage the rhythm of the business. + Occasional travel to key events and possibly international trips, with regular coordination with global teams and chiefs of staff in other industries. + Support customer engagements, prepare for and attend industry events including presenting, manage internal business reviews, and coordinate with account teams for customer meetings. Essential Skills + Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant roles, especially supporting C-suite or in chief of staff/business manager positions. + Proficiency in PowerPoint, able to quickly create and edit executive-level presentations. + Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel, for document and data management. + Experience supporting C-suite or global teams, demonstrating ability to manage complex schedules and coordinate across time zones. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Preferably a degree in business management or related field. + Strong executive presence and communication skills. + Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in fast-paced and technology-driven environments. + Deep understanding of enterprise sales, partner ecosystems, or retail industry background is highly preferred. + High emotional intelligence and discretion in handling sensitive matters. Work Environment This position is remote, but preference is given to candidates in the PST time zone. The role offers exposure to high-level executive interactions and is positioned at the intersection of business management, project execution, and executive support, providing a unique opportunity to influence business outcomes at a global scale. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
