Chief of Staff, Product Strategy and Operations
Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 15 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company. + Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects. + Experience in a Chief of Staff or Business Operations role. Preferred qualifications: + Master's degree or equivalent practical experience. + Experience with SQL, spreadsheets, or similar analytics tools. + Experience working with product and engineering teams. + Excellent communication skills. Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. We are seeking an experienced Chief of Staff/Head of Strategy and Operations to partner with the Vice President (VP) of Finance Engineering. This role will be instrumental in driving initiatives, managing stakeholders, and ensuring the functioning of an engineering organization. You will serve as a partner and contributor for the VP, translating direction into action, improving the processes, enhancing communication, and fostering a culture of excellence within Finance Engineering. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$302,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Oversee cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment and execution. + Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for leadership and internal stakeholders. + Establish and manage the operational organizational operating model, including leadership meetings and decision-making forums. Identify and implement process improvements and track key performance indicators to measure organizational health. + Serve as a point of contact for key stakeholders across Alphabet, including Finance, Product Areas, Central Engineering, and HR, to facilitate collaboration and problem-solving. + Partner with HR and engineering leadership on talent initiatives like organizational design and workforce planning.
