The Senior Director, North American Business, will report directly to the North American Regional Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This role will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the CEO's office. This role requires a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex projects, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and drive strategic initiatives. This role will play a critical role in ensuring alignment between the CEO's priorities and the broader organizational goals.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the CEO's office, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient use of resources and partner with the CEO to develop and execute strategic plans, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives. Ensures strong alignment to priorities with key stakeholders through partnership and collaboration. Drive alignment between the CEO and the NA Executive Committee (ExCom) direct reports via strong program management, while ensuring progress against initiatives and regular updates.Lead and manage special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CEO, ensuring prompt and successful completion. Harmonize cross-functional teams, facilitate strategic alignment, communicate, and collaborate to achieve project and program goals.Plan, coordinate, and facilitate meetings effectively, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are involved. Foster key discussions and decision-making during meetings and represent the CEO in meetings and other forums as needed.Assist in developing executive presentations, ensuring key messages are effectively communicated to the Board of Directors and across the organization. Ensure reports and presentations to the CEO and the Executive Committee are accurate, timely and aligned with strategic objectivesOversee the collection and analysis of key performance indicators to support data driven decision making and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives. May analyze organizational processes and performance and make actionable recommendations for enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and overall success.
