Chief Information Officer

 

Position Summary:

Establishes and directs the long-term strategic goals, policies, and procedures for the information systems department.

 

Responsibilities:


Determines an organization’s long-term systems needs and any hardware acquisitions needed to accomplish the organization’s business objectives
Demonstrates expertise in a variety of field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
Performs a variety of tasks
Leads and directs the work of others
Performs other related duties as assigned
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned

 

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field required.
Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the information technology field required.

 

Working Conditions:


Must be able to maintain a sitting position
Typical equipment used in a clinical job
