Description We are looking for a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of our organization in Appleton, Wisconsin. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive strategic financial planning while ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, strategic planning, and community engagement, particularly within the non-profit sector. Responsibilities: • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, cash flow management, and capital planning. • Develop and implement strategic financial plans that align with organizational goals. • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, regulations, and audit requirements. • Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support executive decision-making. • Lead the preparation and presentation of financial reports to the Board of Directors. • Manage the organization's accounting systems and ensure accurate financial reporting. • Collaborate with senior leadership to establish long-term strategic objectives. • Represent the organization in community engagements to build partnerships and enhance financial support. • Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement. • Drive initiatives that strengthen financial sustainability and operational efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial leadership roles. • Current CPA license preferred. • Proficiency in accounting systems and software. • Strong knowledge of auditing practices and financial regulations. • Proven ability to manage budgets and oversee capital planning. • Expertise in non-profit accounting and community-focused financial strategies. • Exceptional strategic thinking and leadership skills. • Experience presenting financial insights to boards and stakeholders.
