KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical & Operational Leadership

\n\nOversee all engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability at the highest standards.\nEnsure the uninterrupted functioning of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, generators, etc.).\nImplement effective preventive maintenance plans and oversee day-to-day technical inspections.\n\n

Strategic Planning & Budget Management

\n\nPrepare and manage annual capital expenditure and maintenance budgets.\nAnalyze performance metrics (e.g., energy use, downtime, maintenance frequency) and implement continuous improvements.\nConduct feasibility studies and lead the implementation of new technologies.\n\n

Team Leadership & Development

\n\nRecruit, train, and manage the engineering team, fostering a high-performance culture.\nLead performance evaluations, technical training programs, and career development initiatives.\nEstablish emergency response protocols and lead safety training for the team.\n\n

Sustainability & Energy Efficiency

\n\nDevelop and lead environmental and energy-saving initiatives in line with Hilton’s global sustainability goals.\nManage LED conversions, HVAC upgrades, water reuse systems, and other green projects.\nProvide sustainability reporting and contribute to LEED/BREEAM certification efforts.\n\n

Health, Safety & Compliance

\n\nEnsure all critical equipment and systems (fire safety, elevators, generators, etc.) meet legal and safety standards.\nCoordinate emergency drills and compliance inspections with local authorities.\nEnsure full regulatory compliance with local and international engineering codes and laws.\n\n

Project & Renovation Oversight

\n\nLead renovation projects from scope definition to contractor management and quality control.\nManage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.\nAct as a technical advisor to interior designers and architects for new space planning.\n\n

Guest-Focused Technical Support

\n\nImprove guest comfort systems (climate control, lighting, water pressure) in line with expectations.\nCollaborate with Housekeeping, Front Office, and Guest Relations to support seamless operations.\nProvide custom technical solutions for VIP guests and high-profile events.\n\n\n

WHO YOU ARE:

\n\nA university graduate in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) with professional certifications preferred.\nProven experience managing engineering operations in a hotel or large facility.\nDetail-oriented, solution-driven, and passionate about safety and quality.\nWell-versed in energy efficiency, sustainability practices, and modern technical systems.\nExperienced in budgeting, project planning, and strategic decision-making.\nFluent in Turkish and proficient in English (both written and spoken).\n\n\n
