Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Chief Accountant to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will lead the accounting team and manage statutory and tax reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the preparation of financial statements and reportsEnsure compliance with accounting principles and regulationsSupervise tax compliance and planningCoordinate with external advisorsManage audits and related activitiesDevelop and implement accounting policies and proceduresSupervise and mentor the accounting teamAnalyze financial data to identify trends and improve performanceEnsure accurate and timely financial reportingCollaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related fieldCPA or equivalent certification preferred8-10 years of experience in accounting and financial management, including 1-3 years in people managementStrong knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting tools, including SAPExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership and team management abilitiesEffective communication skillsAdvanced level of English, both written and verbalThis job is based out of Istanbul, Turkey
