US HWY 301, Riverview, FL 33578 **The community you’ll be caring for:** AdventHealth Riverview ·AdventHealth is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and state-of-the-art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brand-new hospital in Riverview, which is scheduled to open in 2024 ·The new AdventHealth Riverview hospital will include 82 beds at time of opening with space to expand to 202 beds in the future. ·This $250 million project in Riverview also includes a 100,000 square foot, four-story Medical Office Building that will provide community members convenient access to expert care. ·AdventHealth Riverview will offer a wide range of health care services which includes emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic and women’s care. **The role you’ll contribute:** The Nurse Coordinator provides team leadership to the Chest Pain Center Program. Works collaboratively with physicians from multi-specialties in developing clinical best-practice, coordinating patient-flow processes to treat chest pain accurately and effectively. The Nurse Coordinator is responsible for organizing and leading team meetings, compiling clinical data for presentation and following up on team recommendations. The Nurse Coordinator provides clinical expertise and support to other nursing departments in respect to those patients that present with chest pain. The Nurse Coordinator monitors and assures that patient care is in compliance with required clinical registries. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** ·Effectively communicates with all senior leadership regarding Chest Pain Center accreditation standards and requirements to implement organizational process that impact safe quality care of all patients experiencing chest pain. ·Effectively interprets Chest Pain Center accreditation standards and develops policies, procedures, and protocols to assure compliance; submits recommendations to medical director prior to implementation; Develops education for implementing and integrating changes into organizational process for the Chest Pain Center. ·Effectively interprets The Chest Pain Accreditation standards and makes recommendations to medical director for approval; Reviews and Revises all policies, procedures, and protocols to assure compliance based on approval. ·Work collaboratively with Emergency Department, Nursing, and Catheterization Lab Leadership to assure compliance with established Chest Pain protocols. Ensures that all department needs are considered when reviewing and revising all policies, procedures, and protocols to assure compliance based on approval from medical director. ·Develops and maintains a strong relationship between AdventHealth and local Emergency Services organizations.
