Cherry Picker positionJob Description

The employee will work in the receiving department, handling the loading and unloading of containers using a cherry picker.

ResponsibilitiesProcess orders according to priority set by the Group Lead to meet customer requirements.Receive, pick, package, and label shipments according to the Distribution SOP.Operate picking cart or powered industrial truck to various locations throughout the Distribution Center to locate materials and fulfill orders.Complete paper documentation requirements for packing and shipping hazardous chemicals.Maintain good housekeeping and keep inventory neat, clean, and orderly.Verify proper storage conditions of products and notify of any inventory issues such as Can’t Finds, Expired Product, Breakage, and Out-Of-Stocks.Essential SkillsAbility to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Independence and problem-solving abilities.Ability to constantly stand and move around the department.Frequent walking, stooping, bending, and reaching.Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.Capability to lift, carry, pull, and push up to 40-50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally with or without accommodation.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with palletizing, shipping, receiving, packing, picking, and shipping.High School Diploma or GED.Ability to read and write in English.Openness to staying until all orders are processed.General warehouse experience is preferred, especially in packaging.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work at a distribution center for scientific equipment, primarily serving science rooms in schools, hospitals, or medical labs. The facility hosts a team of about 120, divided into receiving, picking, and shipping teams. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nazareth, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
