If you are a Chemical Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity, join Emerson’s Liquid Analysis team! Based at our Shakopee, MN location, you will join a global leader in the development and manufacturing of process analytical equipment for liquid analysis as a Chemist. This is a laboratory-based role that works within a cross-functional engineering teams to support new technology development, new product development and sustaining engineering efforts.   In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Support testing activities for new technology research, new product development and sustaining engineering. Work and collaborate within cross-functional engineering team to formulate test goals and plans. Execute laboratory testing, analyse data, document and communicate test results. Maintain laboratory safety by safely handling chemicals and developing safe testing procedures. Participate in product development reviews, quality reviews, design reviews and peer reviews.  Initiates routine engineering change authorizations.   Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related fields Zero (0) years of related experience Legal authorization to work in the United States

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The starting salary for this role is $70,000-$74,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
