Now Hiring: Analytical Bench Chemist – Food Industry Hadley, MA |On-Site | Full-Time Are you passionate about science, precision, and food innovation? Join our dynamic team as an Analytical Bench Chemist, where you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety, quality, and consistency of our food ingredients and products. This is a hands-on laboratory role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex analytical challenges. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams in R&D, Quality, and Production to support product development and ensure regulatory compliance. What You’ll Do + Perform routine and non-routine chemical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, titration, and more. + Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods to support product innovation and quality assurance. + Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and ensure compliance with GLP/GMP standards. + Document results accurately and prepare detailed reports for internal and regulatory use. + Collaborate with QA and R&D teams to troubleshoot formulation or process-related issues. + Support regulatory submissions and ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and other relevant standards. + Participate in internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. What You Bring + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biochemistry, or related field. + 2–5 years of experience in an analytical chemistry role, preferably in the food, beverage, or nutraceutical industry. + Strong proficiency in instrumental analysis (HPLC, GC, etc.) and wet chemistry techniques. + Familiarity with FDA regulations, food safety standards, and laboratory best practices. + Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently. + Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
