Overview
Leading consumer goods company looking for an experienced Chemist. Ideal candidates should have a  BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field plus 0-4 years of experience OR p rior experience in Hair Color/Care or Consumer Products formulation.

Responsibilities Position will include as tasks to successfully make hair color laboratory batches, conducting product stability, evaluate color performance, and record and report results. Experience with lab equipment such as batching equipment, pH meters, viscometer, and Microsoft applications, and interaction with raw material suppliers a plus. Ability to lift bulk materials, fill consumer laboratory samples, and prepare hair tresses with application of consumer products and CGMP practices required. Assist in the maintenance of laboratory raw materials, glassware, supplies, and waste. Communicate formulation stability and efficacy results. Requirements BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field plus 0-4 years of experience (or) Prior experience in Hair Color/Care or Consumer Products formulation. Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude. Strong communication and analytical skills. Quick learner. Strong data management (excel etc.)
