Chemical Production Operator I
Job Summary: According to defined production processes, product quality, production schedule, and EHS requirements, properly operate and handle the production equipment and chemicals to produce products that meet the requirements in quantity, quality, schedule, and process. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: + Perform daily operation in accordance to standard operation procedures + Assist in chemical blending + Maintain good housekeeping + Drum filling activities + Packing and palletizing + Labelling + Perform all duties with minimal supervision + Other duties or tasks may be assigned Primary EHS responsibilities + Work in a manner that complies with the Company EHS Policy + Use the prescribed safe work practices and approved procedures + Work in a manner that prevents self-inflicted injury or injury to others + Maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly workplace + Use personal protective equipment, where specified, in a proper manner + Report any sub-standard conditions and/or behaviors, including near miss and incident, to immediate superior + Follow the practices implemented by Management in adhering to legal and other requirements Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills: + Minimum of one year of working experience in chemical environment + Basic chemical & safety knowledge + Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel) + Preferably with forklift driving license Education/Certifications: + Certificate holder any science or engineering subject, O-level with strong in science or chemistry can be considered Physical Working Environment: Indoor/Outdoor manual job with uniform provided. Requires the use of physical strength and work in chemical environment.
