Chemical Plant Ops. Manager

As\na Chemical Plant Operations Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal\nrole in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our chemical\nmanufacturing facility. You will be accountable for ensuring that the\nproduction of chemical products is safe, efficient, and compliant with\nregulatory standards. Your duties will involve supervising production\nprocesses, guiding a team of operators and technicians, and implementing\nrigorous safety protocols and environmental regulations. Your expertise will\ncome into play as you optimize plant operations, reduce downtime, control\nproduction costs, and ensure the quality of our chemical products. Your\nguidance is essential in maintaining the facility's integrity, meeting\nproduction targets, and upholding high standards of safety and environmental\nresponsibility in our dynamic and complex industrial environment.

You will report directly to our Site Leader and you'll work out of our Shreveport,\nLA. location on a on-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and success of our chemical\nmanufacturing facility. By optimizing production processes, reducing downtime,\nand controlling costs, you will contribute to increased profitability and operational\nexcellence. Moreover, your role in upholding safety and environmental standards\nnot only mitigates risks but also ensures our company's reputation and\ncompliance with regulatory requirements.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee and manage all aspects of the chemical plant operations,\nincluding production, maintenance, quality control, and safety.Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance, improve\nefficiency, and reduce costs.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and\nprocedures.Guide and motivate a team of operators and technicians to achieve\nproduction targets and maintain a safe working environment.Work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement\ninitiatives and resolve operational issues.

YOU MUST HAVE

    •  \nProven experience of 6+ years in managing chemical plant operations.
    •  \nStrong knowledge of process safety, environmental regulations, and\nquality management systems.
    •  \nExcellent guidance and communication skills.
    •  \nAbility to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective\nactions.
