Job Description:

Permatex is currently looking for a 3rd Shift Chemical Mixer to join our team. 3rd Shift hours are from 11:00pm to 7:00am, Sunday - Thursday.BASIC FUNCTIONTo perform data entry and administrative duties to support the operations of the Manufacturing department.JOB DUTIESAbility to accurately measure, weigh, and add chemical raw materials manually or automaticallyManufacture material according to batch cards and mixing work instructions using computer softwareUnderstanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS)Perform routine batch quality checksSanitizes mixing equipment per work instructions at scheduled intervalsMonitors integrity of mixes and shuts down operation if out of complianceAssists in training of new mixers and assists other lines as neededPromotes and follows all safety guidelines and proceduresRecommends safety improvements as neededPerforms various other duties as necessary.QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma/GED required3-4 years of batch mixing experience in hand cleaner or related industryMust be computer literateMust be certified to drive all types of lift trucks: low-lift, fork-lift, high-liftMust be able to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions.

Compensation Information:

Pay Range is $24 - $28 an hour depending on experience.
