Job Description

The Chemical Manufacturing Support Technician will work alongside the Chemical Manufacturing Technician, assisting with the preparation and cleaning of reactors. This role requires adherence to applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to ensure the successful completion of batches. Responsibilities include real-time documentation, weight checks, component counting, and the removal, consolidation, inspection, and preparation of materials.

ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation and cleaning of reactors.Follow applicable SOPs and cGMPs.Complete batches with real-time documentation.Perform weight checks and component counting.Remove, consolidate, inspect, and prepare materials.Work Environment

The position is based in an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Manufacturing facility, which is highly regulated and requires personal protective equipment (PPE). Technicians will wear gloves, a full-face respirator, and occasionally a Tyvek suit to prevent getting wet, although the usual attire is a uniform. The primary cleaning agent used is citric acid, and no hazardous chemicals are involved in this role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
