Your Role:

 The Chemical Filler/Labeler – 2nd Shift will be packaging hazardous liquids into various sizes and styles of containers, assuring all filling procedures are properly followed and all closure specifications are accurately met, assuring all packages are properly labeled and the finished units/cartons are correctly palletized.  Job duties include:

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2:40pm – 11:10pmThis is a union role and is covered by Teamsters Local 100Use equipment, such as, weigh scales and operate filling equipmentDocument batch information legibly and accuratelyRead and interpret material safety data sheets and other pertinent documents relating to safety, customer requirements and procedures

 

Physical Attributes:

Will walk, stand, bend, and twist, lift and carry up to 70 pounds on consistent basisInvolves lift/reach overhead and manual dexterityUses color, close, and distance vision

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

 

Preferred Qualifications:

1 + years manufacturing experienceExperience working second/night shiftLearn and apply safe, functional, and efficient work practicesPerform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication)
