**SUMMARY**
Operate and control a processing unit or a series of units to effect desired chemical changes in basic substances in accordance with prescribe procedures. Weigh, measure and check raw material to assure batches contain proper ingredients and quantities. Observe gauges, regulate control devices and obtain samples for testing. Operations require close attention to manual, automatic and/or electronic instruments and gauges to regulate and control temperature, process duration, and bring about proper chemical reaction. Maintain process records.
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
+ Operate the chemical conversion film system following Standard Operating Procedures and utilizing the machine control screen and buttons.
+ Identify and articulate abnormal conditions to the support teams.
+ Use air hose to dry finished parts.
+ Inspect processed parts/structures and verify they meet all quality standards.
+ Adds chemicals/ingredients at various points through the process.
+ Takes PH samples to ensure ingredients are at standards according to specification.
+ Monitor instruments to ensure proper production conditions.
+ Record operational or production data.
+ Operate chemical processing or water treatment systems or equipment.
+ Watch operating equipment to detect malfunctions.
+ Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences.

**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE**
+ High school diploma
+ One (1) year of manufacturing experience, prefer with chemical, paint or anodize.
+ Background in aerospace, defense, or cable assembly industries favored.
**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**
+ None
**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS**
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
+ Conversational in any other language is a plus.
**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**
+ Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages.
+ Basic algebra: The ability to manipulate symbols and equations to find unknown values, express relationships, and model situations.
**JOB SKILLS**
+ Beginner in MS Office Suite and SharePoint.
+ Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings and schematics.
+ Ability to utilize chemical testing devices and methods.
+ Ability to measure accurately using a ruler or tape measure.
+ Understanding and experience in Lean manufacturing environment (preferred).
+ Writing skills required to complete documents and forms.
+ Reliable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice to complete orders and/or special. projects to meet customer demands.
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
As part of their job duties, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day while frequently using their hands to handle objects and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to reach, stretch, push, pull, crouch, stoop, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. This role requires specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. **PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS**
+ ASTM F–2412–2005, ANSI Z41–1999, or ANSI Z41–1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.
+ Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.
+ Hearing protection in specific locations.
+ Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.
