Chemical Account Leader (Seller/Doer)

Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Strategic Account Leader in the Houston area, with demonstrated relationships with large Petrochemical including, but not limited to examples such as, INEOS, Huntsman, and Indorama with a focus on Gulf Coast Region. This role will focus on driving the growth of Arcadis' services across all business areas within one or more of these firms with a specific focus on Energy Transition, Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation, and Permitting and Planning. The ideal candidate will have a working relationship with Petrochemical companies in one or more of these key areas and will be able to immediately access new growth opportunities.

This role requires a seasoned professional with deep industry connections, knowledge, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.  

Role accountabilities:

Serve as Arcadis’ primary relationship manager (Account Leader) to further our relationship with our key Petrochemical clients with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience while diversifying Arcadis’ service offerings across Energy Transition, Site Assessment and Remediation, and Permitting and Planning opportunities.     Develop and expand Arcadis’ relationships across our clients’ enterprises to create inspired partnerships and continue to build their understanding of Arcadis’ capabilities and to expand Arcadis’ position as a trusted partner. Collaborate with Arcadis teams to develop and deliver differentiated services and pursuit strategies. Leverage Arcadis’ knowledge and expertise to identify new business opportunities and to develop winning strategies to support our clients’ needs. Oversee contract administration and Arcadis’ internal process and reporting relative to services delivered to our clients.   Build internal contract / program execution teams to ensure successful project delivery that is based on quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.   Collaborate with other Arcadis Account Leaders to develop targeted pursuit strategies and expand Arcadis' presence in the Petrochemical Sector. 

This role requires frequent client engagement with an emphasis on building and maintaining strong relationships through regular in-person meetings in the Houston area. This role requires achieving an initial sales target of approximately $500,000+ in the first year, with expectations for growth and increased goals each subsequent year.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar Science   A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Business Development with Petrochemical Companies (e.g. INEOS, Huntsman, and Indorama, etc.).   Proven experience supporting petrochemical clients through applicable services and solutions. Deep industry connections that can be leveraged to expand Arcadis’ service offerings.

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
