We are looking for a Chef de Partie to manage designated kitchen stations and contribute to the seamless execution of food preparation and service, maintaining the highest standards in a dynamic luxury hospitality setting.
Your Role in the Kitchen
Ensure adherence to recipes and preparation standards to maintain consistency and quality in food offerings.Uphold HACCP and International Food Safety and Hygiene standards, as well as compliance with the Malaysian Food Act and company policies.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas, conducting regular checks on staff practices and equipment maintenance.
Supervise and guide Commis/Demi Chefs, providing on-the-job training and organizing workflow at assigned stations.
Manage stock rotation to minimize wastage and ensure sufficient daily operational stock for designated stations.
Monitor the quality and quantity of food received, striving to eliminate spoilage and maintain efficient stock control.
Check cooking techniques and food presentation to meet standards before service.
Organize workstation allocations to optimize food preparation and service flow.
Assist other stations when required and report directly to the superior any disciplinary or cleanliness issues.
Contribute to a productive kitchen environment by adhering to strict health regulations and promoting safety standards.
