Learn more: www.julios.com.au **Your Day-to-Day** Reporting to the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in leading the kitchen team and supporting day-to-day operations. You’ll also help mentor junior chefs, ensuring consistency, creativity, and quality across every dish. + Oversee your section and ensure smooth kitchen operations in line with hotel and brand standards + Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu development, kitchen organisation, and team leadership + Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance standards + Manage stock levels, control costs, and minimise waste + Train, inspire, and guide junior team members in their culinary development + Collaborate with F&B and other departments to create seamless guest experiences **What We’re Looking For** + Certificate or Diploma in Commercial Cookery (from a registered training provider) + Food Handling Certification + Previous experience in a hotel or busy restaurant kitchen, with some shift leadership responsibility + Strong time management and communication skills + A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment + Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays + Australian working rights essential **What You Can Expect From Us** At IHG, we give our people the **Room to Belong, Grow, and Make a Difference** .
